Property Overview 

The second tallest masonry load bearing wall structure in the world and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Ames Hotel was originally constructed in 1893 as the historic Ames Building, Boston’s first skyscraper and architectural treasure.  The historic building was restored in 2009 through a full rehabilitation process to become the Ames Boston Hotel, which was rated by Boston Magazine as “Boston’s Best Hotel for 2014”.  The property is within walking distance of 65 million square feet of office space, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Back Bay, Chinatown, the North End, and the Boston Waterfront.
